Duties
This person will manage multiple social media platforms and will be responsible for a range of tactics and tasks, including the following:

Write and schedule daily postings for Facebook, Twitter and Google+ using Adobe tools
• Align content with email messaging and promotions
• Create content to increase online engagement with fans on all social channels

Monitor Social Media pages
• DAILY –Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram
• WEEKLY –Houzz, Google+

Address Customer Service Issues
• Post replies directly on social site
• Answer emails sent to client's customer service email

Update applicable sites with new collections, recipes, blog posts, etc.
• Facebook – Albums, milestones, events (in-store, grand openings)
• Houzz - Ideabooks
• FourSquare – new stores and offers
• YouTube –Catalogs and event videos

Lead social media events (Twitter parties/chats, Google Hangouts, Facebook in-store and online events)

Leverage opportunistic social media conversations on other channels/sites to drive loyalty and acquisition, including but not limited to:
• Commenting on blog posts that include retailer products/Links
• Commenting on brand specific Hashtags (promotional, branded etc.)

Create Facebook applications, as needed using the Adobe tool

Stats
• Create monthly dashboards for Sr. Staff
• Analyze reports to gain best practices

Manage Facebook Promoted/Sponsored Posts

Track, analyze, optimize and report on social media programs to help meet objectives

Manage social media forecasts and budgets

Monitor competitors, benchmark against competitors and research emerging trends

Support yearly planning of social media strategy, tactics and goal

Proficient at key applications and programs including Facebook APIs, Google Adwords, etc.


Position Requirements:

Social Media Expertise: 2-5+ years of hands-on, successful management of social media communities and campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Tumblr, and FourSquare for one or more mid-to-large sized consumer facing brands. Retail or lifestyle brand experience is a plus.

Content/Copywriting: Experience writing in the "brand voice" with a primary target audience of women

Passion for Social Media & Emerging Technology: Has a passion and intellectual curiosity for social media, mobile and digital emerging / converging technologies.

Communication: Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience communicating with internal and external audiences. Should have strong interpersonal skills and "can do" attitude.

Project Management / Organization: Must be able to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously, work well independently and have excellent personal organization skills and high attention to detail. Should have experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Creativity: Ability to develop creative social media strategies and execute new and compelling marketing tactics that resonate with the target audience to achieve business goals. An "eye" for style is a plus.

Computer / Tech Savvy: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), social media platforms/reporting tools, graphics software and basic SEO knowledge. Should have operational knowledge of Facebook APIs and applications.

Analytical Skills: Ability to understand social media metrics and quantify results. Must be able to create reports like monthly dashboards and include insights and recommendations.

Education: BA or BS college degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
